The Islamic Center of New Mexico (ICNM), located at 1100 Yale Blvd. SE, serves as the place of worship to over 2000 Muslims in the greater Albuquerque area. Located between the Albuquerque Sunport (Airport) and the University of New Mexico, the ICNM is the centerpoint of most of the area’s Islamic functions.

In addition to daily prayer services and the weekly Jum’ah salat (Friday congregational sermon and prayer), the Islamic Center of New Mexico operates various activities for Muslims and non-Muslims alike.

Jumu’ah services are provided for inmates at the Western New Mexico Correctional Facility in Grants, New Mexico and Central New Mexico Correctional Facility in Los Lunas, New Mexico and visitation upon request is provided for Muslims and non-Muslims who are interested in learning about Islaam at the Metropolitan Detention Center (MDC) in Albuquerque, New Mexico.
